Here are some actual photos from the US. All photos were taken with a SONY RX-100 M2.
First day in the States. As always: Amazing sunsets and wild west romantic. :)
At the moment they are fighting against extrem draught, but the canal next to the place where I stay is full of water.
Some pictures of the awesome nature around me. And of my favorite Sushi, the Golden Gate Roll. :) I'm quite happy with the photos this camera is taking. I love the play of light it is supporting.
The first photos are from my morning walk in the vicinity. -- The last ones are taken form the parking space of the Crossroad-Mall. -- In between a picture of an ice cream called "Death by Chocolate". My friend added when she bought it: "There are worst ways to go."
I went to Knights Ferry. Knights Ferry itself is a historic town. There are also the remains of an old mill, but alos a covered brigde. I had been here a few years before. Lot of changes. On major change: Parking spaces with a fee of 5 Dollars and nowhere else to park unless you want to walk for half an hour in the sun.
The pictures where taken in GRAYSON where a fire took place. The last picture is for Frank. :)
We took a trip to Half Moon Bay and afterwards to San Jose. On our way back, we used a short-cut to avoid the traffic jam on the highway.
The first photo is Rory, the biggest Basset Hound Dog I have ever seen.
These pictures were taken out of the car, most of them through the glass windshield. That is the reason for the blurryness, which has some nice side effects.
Short-trip to Berkeley. :)
First 4 pictures are from Stanislaus State University, an old motive newly shot, the dogs living here and a fancy Sushi restaurant.
Several attempts to take photos of the night sky and the Great Dipper. But I haven't seen the Milky Way yet.
We went out into the boonies to get soem better photos of the stars. We were successfull. We even had the chance to see the Milky Way. Some photos came out pretty good. But I need another try with this camera to catch the light of the Milky Way.
